Chief Executive
Guy Guillemard is the Co-Founder, Shareholder and the Chief Executive of Signature Clubs International, with additional responsibility for strategic planning, long-term development of the clubs, investor relations and business development. He was the opening General Manager & Director of Dubai World Trade Centre from 1979-1989. He recruited and set up the Trade Centre’s management team. Under his personal leadership, the Trade Centre Apartments Club was planned and built, the World Trade Club, Dubai was founded and he also served as a founder director of the Emirates Golf Club, Dubai and the Dubai Business & Tourism Development board. From 1989-2003 Having spent several years, successfully developing and consulting on clubs in Europe such as prestige projects like Wisley Golf Club plc, Hanbury Manor, the London Golf Club, he joined the CCA Group in 1994 in Hong Kong and led the expansion of the company from eight operating clubs to thirty-two in 16 countries over a period of four years. In 1998 as Executive Director of International Leisure Consultants, Guillemard was responsible for a number of outstanding club launches, turnarounds and advice to developers across several Asian markets. Guy returned to the UAE in 2004 and formed SCI with the vision to be the premier private club company in the region.
