Capital Club Dubai, the region's premier private business club and a member of the ENSHAA group will host a Business Lunch Forum with Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar for club members and guests on Monday 25th April.
Al Awar, the CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority, will discuss the outlook for DIFC in times of regional change, certainly a topic of interest to many Capital Club members whose companies and businesses are based there.
As a leader of this robust organisation, Mr Al Awar oversees the development and accomplishment of the overall strategy of the Centre, providing thought leadership and publicly representing the authority.
He started his career in 2001 as part of the founding team of the knowledge and information cluster that grew into Dubai Knowledge Village and Internet City, attracting regional and international institutions to Dubai.
In addition to his role at DIFC Authority, Mr Al Awar also sits on the Board of Directors of Borse Dubai and Dubai Executive Jets Ltd, and has been a member of the H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Program for Leadership Development since 2005.
Business Lunch Forums are one of the excellent initiatives started by the Capital Club, featuring inspirational speakers, entrepreneurs and thought leaders. Over a three course lunch in the Club’s Signature Dining Room, members and their guests will listen to Al Awar’s speech, before he opens up the floor for a Q&A session.
